We are Anne and Hugo, 2 Germans living in Brazil. Traveling, learning languages and discovering new countries has always been our passion. We have made great friends all over the world. In our lives we have both lived in Cologne, Mainz, London and Santiago de Chile and now we have both arrived in the idyllic Florianópolis in the south of Brazil.

Anne was born in Cologne, Germany. She studied communication in her hometown and trained as a make-up artist. She studied acting in Los Angeles and holistic cosmetics and massage techniques in Chile. Anne speaks German, English, Spanish and Portuguese. Over the years she has worked in advertising agencies, cultural sponsoring, at the Ritz Carlton Spa and for the Association of Waldorf Schools. In addition to managing our vacation homes, she is a freelance translator. She loves to act in short films. Her favorite places are Floripa, New Orleans, Cologne, Valparaíso and Buenos Aires.

Hugo was born in Lipova, Romania. He grew up bilingual in German and Romanian. When he was 10 years old, his family moved to Germany. Hugo started traveling the world at an early age, and his first solo trip abroad was to Colombia. After graduating from high school, he completed an apprenticeship in a travel agency and went on to study International Business with a focus on Latin America at the University of Mainz. As a manager in various global industrial companies, he was responsible for the markets in North and South America and is currently a partner in an international management consultancy. Hugo is fluent in German, English, Spanish, Portuguese and Romanian. His favorite places are Romania, Colombia, Cologne, Detroit, Buenos Aires, Guadalajara and Florianópolis.
